Apple iOS 9 public beta now available for free for all; Offers Special photo Albums

Yes, you heard it right the much awaited iOS 9 was now made available for free for all of its users. It’s been available for developers to test for some time now, but if you're daring, Apple just released a public beta that anyone can install.Earlier in the last month, the beta version was only accessible to the registered users at a whooping price of $99.

The main highlights of iOS 9 are:

  • ·         The look and feel of the iOS 9 is much alike its predecessor and it is hard for anyone to recognize it at the first time.
  • ·         The space required for the installation of iOS 9 is just 1.8GB which is pretty much less than IOS 8(4.6GB).
  • ·         Battery improvements have been much concentrated in iOS 9. It will show us a pop-up when the battery is at 10-20 percentage.
  • ·         iOS 9 on the iPad introduces some new ways to multitask on the device. A new Slide Over feature lets you swipe in from the right of the display to look at another app without closing the app you’re currently in.

But the most splendid feature of iOS 9 is its ability  to have special photo albums for screenshots, selfies. It seems that the phone decides what a screenshot or a selfie based on how they have been taken, rather than by using any special image recognition technology. iPhones already have their own folders for time-lapse, slo-mo, burst photos and videos .

A public beta of iOS is expected to be released soon, letting anyone that signs up get their hands on the software. iOS 9 is set to be released in September, alongside the next iPhone, which is rumoured to have a front-facing flash to let people take selfies in the dark.
