The One (1) Year PG Diploma Course on Electronic System Design [PG-DEST] course is an initiative to generate trained manpower in Electronics and related areas who would contribute towards the growth of the industry. The PG-DEST course aims to prepare students to keep in pace with the rapid chages in Electronics System design & Technology and requirements of the Industry. After the course, the students can work as Electronic System Designer in various Design and Manufacturing centres and associated sectors.

Course Objectives

To better prepare the students for Electronic Industry by enhancing their knowledge and skills in the fields of:

• Electronic Hardware Design and Interfacing Techniques
• Embedded Software and Firmware Design
• Electronic Packaging and Industrial Design

Project Internship

Students PG-DEST would undergo a 5 months project internship at C-DAC,Hyderabad. 

Eligibility 

B.E/B.Tech in Electronics major (ECE, EEE, E&I etc) or Equivalent having minimum 55% aggregate marks

Selection Procedure

Selection procedure will be based on Entrance exam conducted by C-DAC Hyderabad; and standard procedures adopted by the centre.

Course Fee

The course fee is Rs 90,000/- (Inclusive of all Taxes). Reservation and fee waiver for SC/ST candidates is as per Government of India rules.

Eligible candidates are required to register through prescribed application form available online through www.esdmindia.in/dest. Applicants can register online by paying a registration fee of Rs 300/- through payment gateway.
