ZTE Unveils its High End Smart Phone AXON

ZTE, the Chinese mobile manufacturing company was looking out of the race in the market quite a time now. But now, reenters back into the smart phones segment with its most powerful high end features named ZTE Axon. 

During a New York press event today, ZTE announced that it is launching the device in the US as the first in its upcoming series of flagship handsets. The handset is priced at $449.98(roughly Rs. 28,500) and  can be pre-ordered from the company website. Amazon, Newegg, and eBay soon to take pre-orders as well.

The device is a first U.S. smartphone which feature Hi-fidelity, Hi-Fi audio production and playback. “Audio touches several aspects of our lives. This is why 82% of people were willing to pay more of high quality audio,” said ZTE vice president of technology planning, Jeff Yee at the Axon Pro launch event, which took place at the Metropolitan West in New York City.

The smartphone ZTE Axon comes with a 13-megapixel/2-megapixel dual lens camera. The primary lens captures images at DSLR quality with an f/1.8 aperture, which can expand to f/1.0 for improved low light photography.

The device also comes with some special features such as a quick launcher on the lock screen that lets you view your active apps, and a pedometer called Argus, which tracks your step and counts your calories burned.

The connectivity features included in ZTE Axon are 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, and USB. The smartphone is available in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver, and Phthalo Blue colour variants, measures 153.9x73.6x9.3mm and weighs 172.9 grams. 

Final verdict : This  Smart phone is bagged with some really exciting features. It has 4 GB of RAM and is much more powerful with the latest Qualcomm snapdragon 810 chipset. ZTE also focused on the lenses in this device. But one should wait for the final result of this device till it gets onto the hands of public. Much awaited device of the company and much excited about it.
